Samir B. Mehta is President, Aftermarket, for UTC Aerospace Systems. He is responsible for the strategic direction of the company’s worldwide commercial and military aftermarket business and customer service, including sales execution, technical and strategic support, program management, asset management and entry into service. He also has direct ownership of key customer interfaces including the 24/7 Customer Response Center and the customer portal.
Mehta previously served as President, Sikorsky Defense Systems and Services for Lockheed Martin Corporation. In this role, he led the corporation’s full lifecycle of military products and services, from technology maturation to product delivery and support, for U.S. Government and foreign military sales customers.
Mehta began his career at UTC serving as Assistant Counsel and Legal Specialist at Otis Elevator Company in Farmington, CT, before transitioning to Sikorsky 2000. He was appointed to Associate General Counsel for Sikorsky in 2004. Throughout his career, he led several critical initiatives for Sikorsky, serving as General Management in Sikorsky’s aftermarket support organization, President of Sikorsky’s Helicopter Support, Inc. subsidiary, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Sikorsky Aerospace Services and President, for Sikorsky Military Systems.
Mehta earned his bachelor’s degree from Stonehill College and his master’s degree in public administration and Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Connecticut.
