Geoff Hunt is Vice President, Engineering & Technology, for UTC Aerospace Systems. In this position, Hunt is responsible for the worldwide Engineering organization. As such, he leads product development programs to ensure UTC Aerospace Systems continues to offer differentiating technologies to meet customer needs, as well as ensuring flawless Engineering program execution by leading the implementation of best practice processes, tools and resources across the enterprise.
Most recently, he served as Vice President, Engineering, for the Engine & Environmental Control Systems business, where he led the integration of the Engine Systems and Air Management Systems Engineering teams.
Hunt began his career as an engineer at Rolls-Royce, where he spent 13 years working on large commercial engine development programs before joining United Technologies. His past 17 years of experience include roles of increasing responsibility in Engineering and program management at both Pratt & Whitney and UTC Aerospace Systems. He provided leadership for the 787 Dreamliner and other Boeing platforms, including product development, system integration and program execution.
Hunt holds a master’s degree in business administration from Boston University and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Sheffield University, England.
